It contains a 1968-1969 UNI Woman Handbook, given to every woman student; a pamphlet about Huisman's candidacy for IAWS Executive Secretary; a 1969 University Honors Convocation program, in which Huisman was recognized; three items related to AWS installations / initiations for new members, including for a candlelighting ceremony, a Mother's Day Weekend event, and a UNI Women's Day event. Scope and Contents This collection consists of seven items ranging from 1877 to 1949. Included are wedding invitations addressed to a "Miss Bell[e] Nicol", dated 1877 and 1878; an undated handwritten poem; a postcard sent to Ruth Helen from New York City in 1949 as well as a 1949 New York postcard souvenir booklet. Scope and Contents This collection consists of three audiocassette tapes. The first, titled “Reminiscing About Minburn of the 1920’s and 1930’s” includes recollections of Smith’s early life in Minburn, Iowa and covers the years 1921-1939. A more detailed description of subjects is available. The second and third tapes focus on Smith’s time at the University of Northern Iowa and include his opinions and stories about professors, coursework, and daily life on campus. Scope and Contents The bulk of this collection dates from 1928-1934, with a few items dating later. It is comprised primarily of ephemeral materials such as brochures, programs, bulletins, handbooks, etc. Topics include different clubs of which Martinek was a member, such as the Y.W.C.A., Orchestra, and Eulalian Literary Society; commencement; music and other arts performances; and ISTC publications.
