Mildred Ethel Stelzmiller Bennington Collection
This collection consists primarily of ephemeral materials dated 1931-1932. Examples include programs for plays performed at ISTC, such as “Enchanted April” and “The Scarecrow”; programs from music performances by campus groups including the Aeolian Glee Club and the college symphony orchestra; a June 1932 booklet titled, “Student Life” featuring photos and descriptions of campus scenes; and the ISTC loyalty song printed on paper made of corn stalks, among other items.

Muhs Family Collection
This collection contains many photographs and artifacts collected by four sisters in the Muhs family. The majority of the photographs in this collection are of individuals or groups of students. Many of them are identified on the reverse sides of the photographs. The researcher is advised to closely review the printed names on the backs of the photographs when looking for a particular individual. Some of the names are difficult to decipher and thus may be misspelled in this finding aid.

This collection contains materials kept by Naomi Spies from her time at the Iowa State Teachers College. Included are event programs, commencement materials, and class cards. It also includes photographs of various campus scenes, such as Homecoming, the College Band, and Bartlett Hall activities and residents. A majority of the photographs are labeled and dated.
Ned Lee Petersen collection
This collection contains Ned Petersen's 1965 University of Northern Iowa diploma; a letter from Dean William Lang regarding Petersen's inclusion on the Fall 1964 "Dean's Honor List"; and a "Hall of Scholarship" certificate (1965).
