Scope and Contents

This collection consists primarily of class handouts, class notes, printed material, and term papers from her library science courses (Binders 1-3). There is also a smaller amount of material which Bolton acquired after she began her career as a librarian in Nebraska (Binder 4).

Scope and Contents This collection consists of one athletic jacket, one print score chart from the 1975 season labeled Panther Paw Chart -- Defense, and one undated football playbook. These items belonged to alumnus Martin “Marty” Stratton, who played football at UNI in the 1974, 1975, and 1976 seasons. The jacket is purple with Stratton’s number, 90, embroidered in yellow on the back. Scope and Contents

This collection contains materials related to the Iowa State Teachers College during the years 1913-1914 and 1923-1928. Materials include programs for concerts and commencement; the school fight / loyalty song; picture postcards; photographs of Cedar Falls and the ISTC campus; football schedules; and more. It also includes a handful of materials related to the construction and opening of the Campanile.

This collection consists of ISTC ephemeral material including a “Program of Recitations” with annotations in the margins; two copies of the 1932 homecoming events booklet; a Publications Banquet program; a “Study” sign from the Bartlett Hall Self Governing Association; two copies of the Bartlett Hall West Fall Dinner program and menu; a postcard featuring the Campanile; and the text of the ISTC fight song.

The materials in this collection relate to Laura Higgins' coursework at the State College of Iowa and include check sheets and information for an Education major and Home Economics, as well as a vocational interest test. The items contain handwritten annotations.

This collection consists of Georgianna Speelman's class notebook, where she recorded notes from coursework in Geography, Sewing, Housekeeping, Cooking, and Physics.

This collection consists of two autograph albums, one belonging to Eugenia Marsh and one to Adelaide Marsh. Each album consists of handwritten notes and poems, often signed by the person and dated. Some of the entries also include “I.S.N.S.” after the person’s name, indicating the Iowa State Normal School. Addie Marsh’s autograph album dates from c. 1882-1884 and Eugenia Marsh’s autograph album dates from c. 1879-1884, [1935?].

The Small Alumni Collection consists of materials donated to University Archives at different points and from different university alumni. This artificial collection is comprised of materials used by alums during their time at the Iowa State Normal School and Iowa State Teachers College.

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of photos of ISTC students on campus and around College Hill with accompanying descriptions, and an ISTC Training Department Class Record for 8th grade history teaching. The photos include those of student housing and accommodations, sports games and teams, eateries, homecoming activities, and recreational activities. The collection also contains materials related to Stolze's everyday activities at ISTC, including a Chapel Attendance Coupon Book and receipts.

This collection consists of from Daisy Wallace's time at the Iowa State Teachers College during 1912 and the 1913-1914 school year. Included are receipts, absence excuses, a registration permission form, application to schedule for Home Economics courses, and Wallace's schedule of work (classes) for the year.
