Consisting of a variety of publications, the William W. and Helen (Lewis) Gibson Collection will aid researchers interested in rural school teaching methods, student activities, and culture. Garnett spent thirteen months in Cambodia in 1955-1956 working for the International Cooperation Administration as an education consultant. Much of this collection is the result of her work in Cambodia and her continuing interest in that country. Dr. Ron Leonhardt, Assistant Professor of History at Albany State University, provided translations for some materials in Box 8, Folder "Cambodian publications" in June 2021 - please see the inventory.
