Biographical / Historical

Willis H. Wagner (1913-2007) joined the UNI faculty as an instructor in the Department of Industrial Arts in 1945. He enjoyed a distinguished career that included many well-known publications, service in professional associations, and aid work in Viet Nam. He retired as a Professor of Industrial Technology in 1978, though he continued as a part-time faculty member for several years thereafter.

Custodial History

This collection had been gathered by Professor Wagner's son as he cleaned out his father's house located at the corner of Hudson Road and 31st Street in Cedar Falls.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Professor Ronald Bro, a Department of Industrial Technology colleague of Professor Wagner, brought this collection to SC&UA in October 2007.
