This small collection came from Marshall's office upon her retirement and largely reflects the activities of her department during her time at UNI. A few outlier documents from the 1960s and 1980s predate her time at UNI. Originally located in Dallas County, Van Meter Township, the DeSoto Consolidated School opened in 1924 and served the children of DeSoto, Iowa, until its closure in 1961.
