George K. Zucker Papers
Professor Zucker's papers consist of course outlines and examinations, correspondence relating to the study of Spanish language and culture at home and abroad, and records relating to his service on the UNI Graduate Council. Zucker also donated a large collection of minutes and memos relating to the faculty governance of the Department of Modern Languages and the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. This material has been integrated into established record series for those units.

Gilchrist Family Library
Principal Gilchrist made his personal library available to early Normal School students. Some of the books in this collection quite likely were part of the collection that he shared. Some of the books were inscribed by Principal Gilchrist, his daughter Maude Gilchrist, and his son Fred C. Gilchrist.
Gilchrist Hall Cornerstone Contents
After a fire destroyed the original Gilchrist Hall on May 12, 1972, on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa, the cornerstone was recovered from the ruins. That cornerstone was opened on October 7, 1972, and the material noted below was discovered.
