This collection consists of Agnes E. Conger’s diploma for her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics degree, encased in a cover labeled Iowa State Teachers College. The item is dated June 4, 1934 and includes ISTC president O.R. Latham’s signature.

This collection consists of the book Reaching for a Star: A Memoir of my Life, My Music, and My Friendship with Famed Singer Frankie Laine, by Craig Cronbaugh. It was written in 2005. Cronbaugh worked in Broadcast Services as a student.

Scope and Contents This collection contains photographs and one copy of The Alumnus (July 1940). The photographs were accumulated by Lizzie Doderer, most likely while she was a student at the Iowa State Normal School, as well as later in her life. Many of the photographs are studio portraits of Doderer and her friends, including Emma Niederfrank, Ruia Bowersox, Mary Closz, Amy Walker, Nell Cole, Myrtie Lockwood, and others. This collection consists of a few documents and a large, extensive, and exceptionally fine college scrapbook kept by Hazel Frank.  It is an excellent document of life at the Teachers College in the early 1930s.
