Scope and Contents The George H. Holmes papers are the office files for the UNI Public Relations Office from about 1950 through about 1970. John Bickers worked as Publications Director at Iowa State Teachers College from 1955-1958. In 2002 he donated a small collection of papers to Special Collections. These include correspondence, slides, brochures about various events and programs on campus, and college publications he oversaw.

This collection consists of news releases published at the University of Northern Iowa. They focus on a wide ranging set of news events, people, and topics related to the campus. Please note that some of the news releases are loose leaf and stored in folders, while others were placed in bound volumes.
