Scope and Contents
The Daryl Smith papers document a portion of Smith’s career at the University of Northern Iowa and date from about 1967 to 2015. The first part of the collection contains minutes, budgets, biology staff notes, and general administrative files from Smith’s tenure as head of the Department of Biology from 1981-1988.The collection also includes grant proposals and funding requests for the Tallgrass Prairie Center, a handful of conference files, and other planning documents.
