This collection consists of two items related to the Turkish Ashura Day celebration hosted by the UNI Turkish Student Association and the Iowa Dialog Center, held on February 2, 2008. The goal of the celebration was to "celebrate diversity and intercultural partnership in the state of Iowa by sharing Ashura (Noah's Pudding) and other traditional Turkish foods."
