Biographical / Historical

Students of Service was originally founded as Gamma Sigma Sigma, an all-female organization dedicated to community service both on and off-campus. In 1971, the organization was renamed to Students of Service and allowed any student, regardless of gender, to join. The group organized many events on campus to benefit the community, such as a yearly blood drive. The group is no longer active.
