Biographical / Historical
The Forensic League began in 1915 and continued to the early 21st century, with the last recorded event in 2012. The first meeting, held on November 30, 1915, elected Victor Peterson as president, Leone Short as vice president, Ida Gaarden as secretary, and Fred Lyons as treasurer. After a revision of the original constitution and by-laws, the forensic league quickly gained student support. The league was also reorganized in 1920.
