Scope and Contents

This small collection gives a good picture of the activities and concerns of the Conservation Club over a thirty year period.  It is particularly strong on documentation of Earth Day 1970. Professor Bernard Clausen was the faculty advisor for the club for many years.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Professor Daryl Smith, a member of the University of Northern Iowa biology faculty, sent this material to the University Archives in the spring semester of 2011.  It is likely that the collection had originally been accumulated by Professor Clausen.
