Biographical / Historical
The Aristotelian Society was a men’s literary society formed in 1889 and later merged with the Philomathean society in 1929. Like other literary societies on campus, the Aristotelian Society focused on helping its members with rhetoric, reading, writing, along with hosting social events. It was disbanded in 1931.
