Mary Gordon’s scrapbook dates from approximately 1917-1936 and contains photographs of ISTC, Iowa State in Ames, and schools where she taught. It includes a ticket from Electric Pavillion in Waterloo and other local ephemera.

Biographical / Historical
Mary Gordon graduated from Perry High School in May 1920. She attended the Iowa State Teachers College (ISTC) and received her Junior College Diploma in 1923. While at ISTC, she was involved in the YWCA and lived in Bartlett Hall. Her teaching experience included a rural school in Iowa Falls from fall 1921-spring 1922, Richland Consolidated School in Fisk, IA from 1923-1925, and Dysart, IA from 1925 to approximately 1927. She married in 1930.
