The Roger Kueter papers provide insignt into the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) College of Education and Kueter's role within, as well as broader career, from about 1960 to 2020. The papers document a variety of subjects and programs, such as the Cadre network, 2+2 program, teacher education and student teaching, among many others. Types of materials in the collection include correspondence, handbooks, photographs, College of Education promotional materials, administrative records, workshop materials, audiovisual content, and more.

The papers have been arranged into twelve series, with files that did not fit into a single series listed afterwards.

The Correspondence series contains correspondence that is primarily organized according to topic / subject. Please see the inventory for specific folder titles.

Series 2 consists of materials related to the Cadre network, which was created to better integrate UNI's education / teaching training and theory coursework with teaching practitioners in the state who hosted student teachers. Teaching Associate Cadres consisted of public school teachers who collaborated with UNI faculty and student teachers. Included are reports, photographs, general background information about the program, administrative files, and conference information.

The Office of Student Field Experience (OSFE) / Student Teaching series includes records relating specifically to this area of the College of Education. UNI partnered with a variety of community colleges throughout Iowa to enact the program. This series contains general program information; grant and funding documentation; reports; newsletters; certificates; brochures; and CDs with assorted content.
