Scope and Contents

Gladys Holland’s materials relate to her time as a student at the Iowa State Teachers College (ISTC) and in the Iowa State Teachers Branch Summer School. Included are directories, housing and campus handbooks, programs, an ISTC admissions letter, an adviser’s card, and Gladys’ class card.

Also included are a “Class Autographs” book from the Atlantic Branch Summer School with handwritten notes; an expenses notebook; and two small photograph booklets featuring photos from campus.

Biographical / Historical

Gladys Holland attended the Iowa State Teachers College in the 1950s. She graduated with her two year Kindergarten-Primary diploma in 1950. While at school, she was involved in the K.P. Club and the Lutheran Student Association.
