Students United for Academics Collection

 Collection
Identifier: 17/03/203

Scope and Contents

This collection contains protest materials created by Students United for Academics. Two Styrofoam tombstones were created as symbols of budget cuts and used as props to headline a "funeral" for academic programs. This event was held on UNI's campus, primarily in Seerley Hall and next to the Campanile. There are also posters created and used by the student group. Example posters include "Save WGS!"; "Students United for Academics Study Vigil"; and "They Have Turned Seerley Hall Into A Study Hall." These are stored in boxes and flat file oversize storage.
