Scope and Contents
This collection consists of a journal containing the organization's constitution, meeting minutes, membership information, and more. It also includes loose pages containing another version of the group's constitution and a written program dated October 26, 1900.

Biographical / Historical
The Eureka Society, later known as the Mutual Improvement Society and the [Neetenin?] Society, was a literary society at the Iowa State Normal School (now the University of Northern Iowa) which sought to provide its members in the approvement of literary attainment through rhetoric, debate, and other speaking opportunities.
