RG 01. Iowa Board of Regents
Found in 6 Collections and/or Records:
This collection features material relating to Joseph Anderson's time as a student at the Normal School and to his work with the Board of Education. There is also a smaller amount of material relating to Orland Anderson's time as a student at the Teachers College in the mid-1920s.
A majority of the Roger Leavitt is glued to notebook sheets measuring 6” x 9.5” and consists of several hundred items. It was evidently assembled by Leavitt and is largely arranged chronologically. It consists of a variety of material types, including correspondence, clippings, pamphlets, and more. One particularly strong subject area relates to the 1912-1913 Coordination Controversy, which would have transitioned the Iowa State Teachers College to a two-year institution.
