Biographical Information Files
The Biographical Information files consist of materials related to, produced by, and / or about University of Northern Iowa faculty, staff, and students throughout the institution's history. Types of materials include faculty biographical information, resumes, news clippings, obituaries, faculty publications, photographs, and more.

General UNI collections
This collection is an artificial collection comprised of various materials related to UNI. Some of the files existed as standalone collections before SC&UA staff organized them under the umbrella of “General UNI collections” title. The inventory goes into greater detail regarding each component of the collection.
Gilchrist Hall Cornerstone Contents
After a fire destroyed the original Gilchrist Hall on May 12, 1972, on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa, the cornerstone was recovered from the ruins. That cornerstone was opened on October 7, 1972, and the material noted below was discovered.

This collection contains reports and evaluations concerning the University of Northern Iowa’s teacher education program and accreditation. Files relate to both UNI’s undergraduate and graduate teacher education programs. Materials were created by UNI internally as well as external groups.
