Scope and Contents

The Academic Affairs collection dates from 1951 to the present and includes assorted files and subjects related to the division's work. Much of the material is dated before the year 2000. The collection's content includes General Education files, curriculum proposals and information, grant files, and ephemera (promotional materials, newsletters, calendars, etc.). It also contains archived websites captured using the web archiving tool, Archive-It.

Scope and Contents The Committee on Academic Program Review was established to provide the administrative framework for conducting periodic reviews of the academic programs of the University of Northern Iowa. The reviews are wide-ranging and thorough surveys of the quality of academic programs. The files in this record series consist, first, of the committee's administrative documents, including memos, correspondence, directions for writing or revising reviews, and schedules for external reviewers....

Scope and Contents

The Syllabi Collection dates from 1950 to 2003 and contains syllabi from across the University of Northern Iowa's academic departments and colleges. A small number of syllabi are accompanied by other instructional materials, such as course handouts, study guides, exam prompts, etc.
