Scope and Contents

The Student Life General Collection is an artificial collection created by SC&UA staff. It consists of materials accumulated in SC&UA or donated to SC&UA, and that relate to student life at the University of Northern Iowa at a high level. Please see each series within this collection for additional information about each part of the collection.

Scope and Contents The Programs collection consists primarily of bound volumes containing programs from various campus events throughout the University of Northern Iowa's history, beginning when it was called the Iowa State Normal School. The programs overall date from 1887 to 2007, with the bulk of the materials dating from 1887 to 1975. Scope and Contents The Student Guides and Handbooks collection dates from 1891 to 2012, covering much of the University of Northern Iowa’s history and student life on its campus.
