Scope and Contents The John Vallentine papers date from 1981 to about 2020 and focus almost exclusively on materials created or used by Vallentine during his tenure in the University of Northern Iowa School of Music.Included are six binders representing Vallentine’s professional work and documents as, first, a School of Music faculty member and then as its director.
