Scope and Contents This collection consists of three audiocassette tapes. The first, titled “Reminiscing About Minburn of the 1920’s and 1930’s” includes recollections of Smith’s early life in Minburn, Iowa and covers the years 1921-1939. A more detailed description of subjects is available. The second and third tapes focus on Smith’s time at the University of Northern Iowa and include his opinions and stories about professors, coursework, and daily life on campus.
