C. Hugh Pettersen Papers

 Collection
Identifier: MsC-77

Scope and Contents

This collection includes correspondence, publications, records, programs, and photographs relating primarily to the College Hill community and the College Hill Arts Festival. Some of the material in Pettersen's collection duplicates material in the College Hill Arts Festival collection. Pettersen was sometimes known as the unofficial mayor of College Hill. Researchers interested in the College Hill neighborhood will find that Pettersen's papers document ways in which the city of Cedar Falls worked with College Hill merchants and residents throughout the years.
