Citizens for Peace Collection
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of material from Citizens for Peace. There is a small amount of material produced by the local group, which consists primarily of the group's newsletter. There is also a collection of publications from state, regional, and national groups relating to the fostering of peace in the world. Several people associated with the University of Northern Iowa, including Professor Alvin Sunseri, were also associated with the group.

Biographical / Historical
Citizens for Peace was a Waterloo-Cedar Falls group that advocated for peace and the destruction of nuclear weapons from about 1982 to 1987.

James and Lucille Price, both former UNI staff members, gave this collection to the University of Northern Iowa Special Collections Division in June 2002.
