UNI Football Game Films

 Collection
Identifier: 18/01/08

Scope and Contents

This collection contains 16mm films from ISTC, SCI, and UNI football games, recorded from 1958 to 1978. The films were likely shot by university athletics staff, possibly as a means of preparing for upcoming games. They were recorded without audio and primarily in black and white. This is an incomplete set as not each game film was donated to the archives. A few box labels seem to disagree with the contents of the container itself. The processor of this collection did not have the opportunity to view the films himself. Consequently, the condition and the contents of the films cannot be guaranteed. These films have been digitized to MP4 and MKV format between 2018 and 2023, and are available online in ScholarWorks.
