Biographical / Historical

The Center for Holocaust and Genocide Education was established in 2010 and "advocates for a prominent role for Holocaust and genocide education on campus, in the community and in the curriculum of Iowa's schools," as well as offering educational programming and other resources, both on campus and more widely. Examples of exhibit topics it has sponsored include rescuing Jewish people during the Holocaust and the White Rose resistance movement. It also sponsors / hosts annual Holocaust Remembrance events.
