Biographical / Historical
David V. McCalley joined the University of Northern Iowa biology and science education faculty in 1966. He had special expertise and interest in environmental education and was associated with the UNI Center for Energy and Environmental Education. He was also involved in environmental education on an international level, especially with an effort with the Soviet Union in 1990. He retired from the faculty in 1999.
