Scope and Contents

The papers in boxes 1-4 are the office files of the various bureaus which handled alumni services. They consist primarily of records relating to the legislative contact program and communication with alumni. Through this program, the three state universities attempted to keep state legislators informed about the needs of higher education. The papers in boxes 5-7 are subject files from the Alumni Office containing information on fundraising activities and alumni relations.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The Alumni Office subject files were acquired in two separate transactions. Boxes 1-4 arrived in January 1979 and boxes 5-7 arrived in May 1982.
