This collection consists of materials related to "Iowa's One-Room Schoolhouses." Included is a packet, presumably created by Sue Grosboll, detailing the reenactment scenes filmed at Bennington #4 Schoolhouse, with information about scheduling, costumes, and scenes. The collection also contains a UNI Today article about the project, participant release forms, and one DVD of the documentary.

Biographical / Historical
Former University of Northern Iowa (UNI) Museum director, Sue Grosboll, played a role in the production of the Iowa Public Television documentary, "Iowa's One-Room Schoolhouses," which focuses on these once prevalent schools and their surrounding communities. Grosboll was involved in a few different ways, such as participating in an interview for the film itself and coordinating reenactment scenes filmed at Bennington #4 Schoolhouse. The film won a Regional Emmy Award for Historical Documentary from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences - Upper Midwest Chapter.
