Guidance files [RESTRICTED], 1962-2004

 Series — Box: 74-76
Identifier: 21/01/01

Scope and Contents

The papers arrived in a file cabinet clearly marked "Guidance".  However, the files seem to be more of a year-by-year collection of Laboratory School information and programs.  Included in the files are bulletins for staff, staff lists, student lists, class observation schedules, school policy and procedure, performance programs, athletics scores, notes to parents, class schedules, award lists, and similar material.  These items are not uniformly present in each year's accumulation.  In addition, coverage varies considerably over time.  It is possible that Principal John Aldrich, or his staff, put these yearly collections together for at least some of the years covered in this series. Some yearly gatherings include student records and evaluations.  Use of that material is restricted.  However, most of the files are open and available for research.  Those files could offer researchers a quick look at events, practices, and policies at the Laboratory School during a particular period of time
