Scope and Contents

This is a composite record series consisting of material already in the University Archives as well as additional material that came to the University Archives in the summer of 2012, as part of the process of clearing the Malcolm Price Laboratory School building after the school's closing in June 2012.  The North Central Association is an educational accrediting agency.  The Malcolm Price Laboratory School chose to be accredited by this agancy. This series includes an excellent run of annual reports made by the Laboratory School to the North Central Association.  These reports give a good annual snapshot of the school, its students, and its programs.  This series also includes extensive files pertaining to periodic site visits by the North Central Association to the Laboratory School.  These files typically include Laboratory School self-studies, corresponce, arrangements and preparations for the visits, reports of the evaluation team, and follow-ups to those reports and studies.  These files provide a deep look at the Laboratory School, its performance, its shortcomings, and its goals.
