Department Memoranda, 1974-1983

Scope and Contents

This large collection of memoranda, beginning with the Spring semester of 1974 and ending with the Summer semester of 1983, is comprised of notes written by and to Thomas Thompson while he was head of the Department of Philosophy and Religion and, later, Dean of the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. Most of the memos cover general administrative topics such as department meetings, curricular matters, and faculty obligations, and are exchanges with faculty within Thompson’s department and college.
