Teacher Education Slide Series, Undated
Scope and Contents
The Teacher Education Slide Series is composed of 35mm color slides created by the College of Education and Malcolm Price Laboratory School. It contains images of elementary, junior high, and high school students engaged in learning in both classroom and extracurricular settings. Images of teachers, award ceremonies, field trips to the Cedar Falls Police and Fire Station and the Grout Museum, and a presentation created by students from the State College of Iowa (now University of Northern Iowa) entitled “Who Will Teach Them?” are also included. Rounding out the collection are three presentations “Our Manpower Future, 1955-1965” provided by the U.S. Department of Labor, “Teachers for Tomorrow” provided by the Fund for the Advancement of Education, and “An Investment in People” from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
