In each folder, each student has a certificate from a secondary school or a request for admission to the Iowa State Normal School. The forms include the student's name, the school of last attendance, subjects taken, number of terms in which subjects were taken, grades secured, textbooks used, and student number. In some cases, correspondence from a principal, superintendent, or school president is also included. These statements of credit are filed chronologically.
