Building Planning, Renovation, and Space Assignment Files, 1990-2012

 Sub-Series
Identifier: 03/01/01

Scope and Contents

These files document the interest and concerns of the Vice President and Provost in the planning, construction, renovation, and use of campus buildings and spaces.  This interest, in keeping with the Provost's primary responsibilities, is focused primarily on academic buildings and their use.

The files include correspondence, reports, sketches, and a few photographs relating both to major projects, such as the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, as well as to minor actions, such as room or space assignments.  Most of the files are arranged by the name of the building, facility, or space.  However, a portion of the files includes information on general and campus-wide planning.  The quantity of information about each building or action varies significantly.  Some files relate to proposed projects that did not come to fruition.
