Story County Rural School Records
Scope and Contents
This collection contains documents from the rural school system of Story County, Iowa dating from 1890-1932. The records cover a majority of the rural schools’ histories, but they are not comprehensive: some records were lost before their transfer to the Center for the History of Rural Iowa Education and Culture. The collection material is arranged into one box: “Teachers' Reports to the Superintendent, 1890-1932”. Box 1. "Teachers' Reports to the Superintendent, 1890-1932" contains records on microfilm created and/or utilized by individual districts and schools. This series consists solely of Teachers' Reports to the Superintendent.
