The papers in this collection concern Hansen's work with education legislation during his years in the Iowa General Assembly. Boxes 1-3 contain publications and reports dealing with education with emphasis on educational financing and Iowa education. Boxes 4-8 include correspondence, memos, clippings, reports, and notes dealing with Hansen's experience with Iowa education legislation. Of note is material concerning Area Education Agencies (A.E.A.) and special education.
