This collection contains two small sections of cards from the card catalog before computerized catalogs. The cards in this series are the "Iowa" section of the card catalog. They were present when the card file catalog was completely dismantled and discarded in August 1994. These are retained as an example of the technology used to identify and locate holdings in the Library for over 100 years.
